Research candidate
A candidate is a business identified through initial industry research. Public descriptions summarize the activities stated by that business. Candidate status does not mean the legal entity, production site, testing documents or ownership have been independently verified.
Source-backed product information
A listed product must have a source page, an image and documented specifications. The exact model and the date of research matter: manufacturers can revise products and websites. A numerical specification is reproduced as a manufacturer statement, not as a QQip test result.
Profile review and ownership
An administrator may review the completeness and consistency of a profile separately from a factory ownership claim. Claim approval binds a representative’s account to the factory workspace. Neither account ownership nor a complete profile constitutes an independent factory audit.
Unknowns and exclusions
If a required value is unknown, the product or factory does not count as a confirmed match for that filter. We do not infer certificates from logos, a factory-wide claim or another product’s document. Buyers should request evidence that identifies the exact model, test scope and relevant market.
Updating a profile
Representatives submit changes for review. Product changes accepted from a factory first enter a draft stage so specifications and imagery can be checked before publication. Incorrect identity or source relationships should be corrected before a profile is promoted or invited.
Before an order
Confirm the legal contracting party, production responsibilities, approved sample, specification revision, quality acceptance criteria and commercial terms. Keep written answers and the applicable documents with your sourcing brief.
